Applying Up-Converting Phosphor Technology, Hotgen’s UPT products are set to enhance the precision and stability of fluorescence detection methodology products. The UPT applies the anti-Stokes effect of rare earth materials, which could emit high-energy (short-wavelength) visible light when excited by low-energy (long-wavelength) infrared light. This unique feature removes almost all interference in the background of diagnostic results, lifting the signal-to-noise ratio significantly, which means much higher precision than the traditional fluorescence or colloidal gold products.
