Aluminium Sheet Metal Fabrication
Aluminum alloy is composed of the basic element aluminum and various alloying elements, mainly copper, silicon, magnesium, etc. It is the most widely used metal material in industry, with low density, high strength, good plasticity, excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in general industry, with a usage rate second only to steel.

1. Low density

The density of aluminum and aluminum alloys is close to 2.7g, which is about one-third of that of iron or copper.

2. High strength

Aluminum and aluminum alloys have high strength. After a certain degree of cold processing, the strength of the matrix can be enhanced, and certain aluminum alloy grades can also be enhanced through heat treatment.

3. Good conductivity and thermal conductivity

Aluminum's conductivity and thermal conductivity are second only to silver, copper, and gold.

4. Good corrosion resistance

The surface of aluminum is prone to producing a dense solid Al2O3 protective film, which can protect the substrate from corrosion. By artificial anodizing and coloring, cast aluminum alloys with good casting performance or deformed aluminum alloys with good plasticity can be obtained.

5. Easy to process

After adding certain alloying elements, cast aluminum alloys with good casting performance or deformed aluminum alloys with good processing plasticity can be obtained. Due to its excellent physical properties, aluminum has been widely used in various industries of the national economy and defense industry.
