Idea/recipe: chocolate ORANGE STRIPS.
Ingredients:
2 medium ripe Algarve oranges
1 cup (tea) sugar
1 cup (tea) of water
150 g dark chocolate, chopped
Preparation:
Wash the oranges, remove the pulp and remove the white membrane.
Cut the Peel into thin strips and throw them in a pan.
Cover with water, bring to the boil and drain fire; Repeat this procedure four times; Drain and reserve.
Over low heat, dissolve the sugar in the water, add the strips and stir until the syrup thickens.
Place a grid on a baking sheet and let the strips dry.
Then, pass oil on the grill and place it on the baking sheet;
Soak the tip of the Strip in chocolate (tempered previously) and prop up them in the grid; Return to refrigerator to harden and serve at room temperature.
