Ice cream iced coffee with whipped cream.

Ingredients
240ml (1 cup) whipping cream
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
2 large scoops vanilla ice cream
500ml (2 cups + 1 tbsp or 1 pint) chilled strong coffee (turkish, espresso or any of your choice)
2 tablespoons rum (optional)
For decoration:
chocolate sprinkles
wafer rolls
Directions
Pour the cream in the bowl of your electric mixer, add the sugar, and whisk the cream on low speed until firm peaks form. Set aside.
Place 1 large scoop of ice cream in each glass.
Pour one half of coffee in each glass (250ml or 1 cup per glass), and add a tablespoon of rum to each (if using).
Then top with a few tablespoons of whipped cream, decorate with sprinkles and a wafer, add a straw and serve immediately.
Notes
ON MAKING TURKISH COFFEE
- Bring 500ml (1 pint or 2 cups + 1 TBSP) water to a simmer in a cezve or a small saucepan. Remove from heat.
- Add 4 heaping tablespoons of ground coffee , stir it in and put back on the stove. Bring coffee to a boil. You’ll know it’s beginning to boil and is ready to be removed form the stove as soon as the foam on top starts to bubble up. (You will see tiny vulcano-like eruptions.)
- Remove from heat and pour in a glass jug through a fine mesh sieve or preferably a cloth.
- Chill, covered, and use within a day.

It's best if you make the whipped cream right before you serve the iced coffee, but you can also make it a few hours prior to that. Store it in a bowl and cover it tightly with two layers of plastic wrap.

You can use chocolate sauce (or even caramel sauce) instead of the sprinkles.
